Today's comic--really more of an online graphic novel, as it says on the website--is The Meek, written, drawn and everything'd by
alexds3. One of the brains behind the now-ded Under Lock & Key (for which I am still crying, just a little bit). Edit: whoops, I'm wrong. See comments for truth and justice.
It's a fantastical story set on a grand scale in a place ruled by...

...this guy. His name's Luca deSadar, he's the leader of the Pasori peoples, and the Emperor of the Northern Territories. He's a just a tad conflicted, and possibly insane. He's also the one the artist draws a lot.
( Um...some nudity under the cut? Probably not noticeable to anyone walking past you. )
...You done? Okay. A much larger chunk of the story used to be available online in the form of sketched out pages, but those seem to have disappeared. Or else I can't find them. Ah, well, all the better for you! Now I can't link you to spoilers. Suffice to say: rocks fall, and everyone dies. Or do they?
But seriously, the story is already more detailed and well thought out than it was in its sketch phases, and I can tell this is going to be a graphic novel of epic proportions. Some other useful links: the artist's deviantart and homepage. Also Meekipedia, which is exactly what it sounds like. Happy reading!

What bullshit is this?
Apparently "dungeon" is an archaic term for "donjon" according to the dictionary.
